Updates

What goes around comes back around. This is the same for both bad and good karma, and I've not been receiving bad karma these past couple of days. But let's not jinx myself here... Lol.

Met up with Shawn last week for badminton, and I was sore all over... But then I probably gained all the weight that I lost back as I met up with him for Jco Donuts on thursday. They're pretty good, but still not as good as Krispy Kreme... Lol...

I then later met up with Suraj right after that and we went to boat quay as he wanted to meet up with the guy for a job as a valet. I believe he got the job as I was trying my best to be distracted besides the fact that the weather was freaking hot. We then later walked to Marina Square from boat quay and had dinner at Waraku... My favorite Japanese restaurant. Haha.

Went to my uncle's place on Saturday as my mom and my aunts all wanted to play mahjong. They started playing at like 7 and only ended at 2am... approximately 7 hours for 2 games... Speaking of Mahjong, I feel like playing mahjong right now... lol.

I went over to my god-parent's place yesterday and had steamboat for dinner... But before that, I went over to my god-brother's place. He has this surround sound, a 40 inch plasma and he started playing Jay Chou's concert on it. Damn, it sounded, and looked good! So yeah, not much is going on these next few days. Although I'm supposed to head over to borrow the Graduation Gown.

And is the outing still on for April 24th? Why aren't there any plans yet???

I'm Back

Ok... So I've been back for like 4 days already, but I've just been too lazy to blog. I left for Genting on the 8th of April at 7, and I arrived at Genting around 2-ish. After checking in, and placing our bags in the rooms, we headed down to the Indoor theme park area where the food and all the shopping were at. We were initially supposed to eat at this Hainan place for lunch, but we changed our minds after looking at the menu. We then headed to Marrybrown for lunch. (This was the only time I ate from the fast food restaurants when I was there!).

We later got the Indoor Theme Park tickets and we played the Bumper Cars and the Indoor Roller Coaster the most times. There was only one strategy when it came to the Bumper Cars: 5 on 1. The 5 of us all attacked Leon. This was the case for all the 3 times that we played. We then walked around the place looking for a place to have dinner. We walked to the buffet area at Genting Highland resort, but the food did not look appetizing. We then headed to some kind of a coffee shop place at the Resort Hotel. We had steamed fish, deer meat, sambal kangkong and some kind of chicken, and it only costed us SGD $7.

Day two came by and that was the day for the Outdoor Theme Park. We first met up at 10am and I had Dim Sum for breakfast. We then headed straight for the Theme Park, and the first ride that we took was the Pirate Ship. I've never taken the Pirate Ship for about 9 years because I find it really scary. And after 9 years, I still have the same conclusion. My mouth would tremble every time the ship was going down and couldn't even scream. The only way was to laugh it off. Me and my cousin started laughing uncontrollably on the ride, and I was saying the word "Fuck" every time the ship would go down. But of course, I tried to say it softly as there were others on the ride.

The 2nd ride that we went on is my personal favorite, the Corkscrew. I love the corkscrew, especially the first drop. My cousin who loved the Pirate Ship said that the Corkscrew was scary. They were practically screaming my name throughout the whole ride as if they were blaming me for making them go on the ride. After that, we decided to go slow and just rest for a little while. We took some pictures, and took some kiddy ride called the space station or something. It was so stupid. They then headed to play the Super Toboggan which I did not play as there was a weight limit. And surprise surprise, I'm over it. Lol.

They then later went to play the swing that swings people round and round. I sat out of this one as well, as I did not feel safe with just a metal wire supporting all of my weight. We then later went to play the roller coaster meant for 4 people, and then it was the spinning tea cup afterwards. This was hilarious and I did NOT want to be seated with Leon in a cup. I wanted to share with my cousin and her bf because we did not want to spin the cup. However, there wasn't enough leg room and I had no choice but to get in the cup with Leon. He wanted to spin, I didn't. So we spent the WHOLE ride making it a battle of strength. He'd try and spin one way, while I counter-react. When I got off the ride, I was SO tired.

We then went to play the flying dragon roller coaster and this was probably a bad idea. The ride tosses you from one side to the other which causes your legs and arms to knock against the inside of the ride. I'm surprised I didn't get any bruises after that ride. And then it was time for the Rolling Thunder Mine. This ride has been closed for the past 5 trips that I've been there. So I was very happy when I found out that it was operating. After this, they wanted to reply the Pirate Ship, and I chose to sit out of that one. Then it was back to the Corkscrew...

After the Theme Park, We had lunch at Kenny Rogers, and then me and my cousin went to the karaoke while the rest went back to rest. Soon, it was dinner at the same coffee shop again. Headed to the arcade afterwards, where Leon found a cheat way to garner tons of tickets. We eventually managed to get enough tickets for Candy to redeem a stuffed toy elephant. The next day rolled around and we were on the bus headed back for Singapore, but after some shopping of course. Anywayz, I had tons of fun on the trip, and all the trouble that I had while planning the trip was worth it.

Rested on Friday, and then I went out with my mom and my brother on Saturday. We headed to Chinatown as my brother had to get some school stuff, we then went to some restaurant for their deserts (Which is really good - I had Creme Brulee). Afterwards, we went to a Fish Spa. You know, the ones where the fish nibble on your dead skin... It was so ticklish at first, but then you get used to the feeling after awhile. Headed to my Grandma's Birthday dinner afterwards.

Saw the movie Untraceable today, and it's pretty good. So yeah... I'm lazy to think of something interesting to blog about, so I'll leave it for another time. As for now, at least you're updated with what I've been doing... :)

I'll post pictures from the genting trip when I actually get them...

Pre Genting

So i'll be leaving for Genting in like a matter of hours... Well, it's technically like tomorrow morning, but it actually feels more like late tonight than tomorrow morning. As you all know, my sleeping times have been pretty irregular so yeah....

I still gotta get toiletries, I still gotta change money, and I haven't packed my bag yet! That's me, everything's like last minute...

Fun Couple of Days

It's been quite a while since I last blogged, so here I am. First off, the Genting trip..

It's been so frustrating organizing this trip. The trip to Genting was supposed to be a class thing, but it didn't turn out so well. Tons of things happened in between the confirming and the booking of the trip.

The original people confirmed going were: Me, Chee Chuan, Yong Sheng, Candy & Chris.
The people that are booked for Genting are: Me, Candy, Chris, Shu Juan (My Cousin), Bernard (Cousin's BF), and Leon.
The people that are going to Genting are: Well, I don't know yet. I hope it's not going to change, but so much happened in between confirming and booking the trip that I'd be stupid to not have my doubts. But I'm praying HARD that there's no more changes. If there are changes, I'd hope that it's additions instead of withdrawals.

What happened in between confirming and booking? Well, I'm not posting it here as I'd definitely step on some toes.

Not only was the number of people going constantly changing, the price of the trip was changing as well.

It was originally $113 (5 stars and Grassland)
Then $105 (If I booked the hotel and bus tickets seperately. This included free breakfast + Magic Show Tickets)
Then $98 (If the bus tickets were from Sri Maju instead of Stars or Grassland)
Then $108 (The hotel rooms were fully booked when the people going were confirmed)
Then $113 again (Cuz we were at People's park and were lazy to take a cab down to Golden Mile)
Then finally, $88. Grassland had some kind of promotion. (But no Free Breakfast & Magic Show Tickets)

Went to book the trip with Candy and Leon on Friday. Then Me, Leon, and Candy met up with Chris at town and had dinner at Ajisen. Went to Coffee Bean afterwards and talked. I was then asked to attend Chris's Birthday Celebration on Saturday. Went to Chris's Birthday Party which was at the Bukit Timah area if I'm not wrong. Got to meet one of Candy's Cousins Adeline, and One of Chris's BMT friend Bo Wei. Ugh... The sound of BMT makes me cringe. Anywayz, here's a picture that we took when the lights at the pool were turned off.

The lights were turned off as we stayed till around 2am. Bo Wei who lives in Tampines then drove Me and Leon (who was going to stay at my place for the night) home. We came home, and I showed Leon the first episode of The O.C. He got pretty hooked on it right away. I forgot how good The O.C. was during Season 1. Anywayz, I slept at 8am, and then woke up at 2pm. My brother's friend was also over at that time, so the 4 of us slept on 2 single beds. SQUEEZY...

My Bro's friend (Adam) rented a car that day, so the 4 of us headed out afterwards. We picked up one more of my Brother's friends John, and then we headed to Popeye's for dinner at the Singapore Flyer. We walked around the Singapore Flyer for a little while then they decided to play LAN at Orchard. I SUCK AT COMPUTER GAMES. So imagine how bad I was when they decided to play Counter Strike. I've only played it once before and that was like 8 years ago!

After we were done, We dropped Leon off at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station as it was like 11:30 pm. We then headed to Changi Airport to pick up one of Adam's friends Sherry. We then headed to Changi Village for supper then went to the beach afterwards. We then got back into the car, and went to Punggol to look at the house that's supposedly haunted. You know, the house that's in the middle of a field? So we drove around it. We were scared as hell when we couldn't start the car but it was because Adam didn't have the gears in the correct position or smth.

We then headed to Holland Village and drove around looking at the Rich People's Houses and we got lost while trying to look for a house at Ewood Park or a road that sounded something like that. We were turning around and around trying to look for the Ewood Park road for at least 2 hours. Haha. It was actually fun getting lost! We took a break from looking as we had to urgently use the bathroom. It was only then when Sherry asked a guy where Ewood Park road was at. The guy told us that it was at another place. pointing much further from where we were looking for the road. When we finally got to Ewood Park, the lights were all off (it was like 4am at this point) We then sent Sherry home, sent John home, and then I finally got home. I was practically dead at this point.

So I had tons of fun. Shu Juan and Bernard and one of my friends are coming over tomorrow to play some Mahjong. Wish me luck! Lol.

Updates

So the most recent thing that I did and that's worth mentioning was that I went to the S-Pop Hurray's finale yesterday night. My auntie had 4 free tickets, so I went with my mom, and my uncle and auntie to the show. It's my first time to the Indoor Stadium, and they closed off like half of the stadium, as they didn't do a circular stage. Some performances were boring as hell but some were pretty good.

Li Sheng Jie's peformance was good. The performance where the guy sang "Yi Ren Yi Ban" was probably my favorite though. It sounded really good. In the end, the song "Fa Shao" won, but who really cares about it? The song wasn't that good in my opinion, and half of the people in the stadium left before the results were announced.

I've been looking at Genting websites and websites of tour agencies. Planning this trip isn't that easy. Gotta find out the hotel price, gotta check the bus coach ticket price. Why not go through a tour agency? Cuz it's a little more expensive. $113 to be exact.

If everything goes well, I'd be able to book the room including the bus coach ticket, free breakfast, and a free magic show ticket for $98. Much more worth it right??? But then there's the credit card problem... None of us has a credit card! Then there's also another problem, the $98 one has to have an even number! We're now at 5 people. Yeah, I know that the 3rd person can squeeze into a room with 2 others. But then we'll only get 4 free breakfasts and 4 magic show tickets. What will the 5th person do then???

But nonetheless, I'm still looking forward to the trip whenever it is. At least it takes my mind off of having to enter the Army.

My PES status was originally PES D as they needed to look at my medical records from CGH. For those that know me, I would get pains in my right chest area as there's something in my right lung. It's most probably a scar tissue from when I had Pneumonia when I was in the US. So anyways, at times, my right lung will just hurt for no reason and I wouldn't be able to breathe. The chances of this happening is increased when I'm running, or doing some rigorous exercise. SJ, CC, and YS, I believe you've seen me in pain before when we were rushing to get to class on time in SP.

So after reviewing my medical record, they upgraded me to PES BP. Yeah, the obese one. 4 MONTHS BMT! And when I called them to find out if they already recieved my medical report, they said that they already recieved it. And the admin guy that I was talking to said - and I quote: "Everything is fine."

I was lost for words when I heard those three damned words...

Complain Complain!

Argh! I'm so pissed off right now... I just came back from watching 2 movies. Yeah, we had a movie marathon, and one of the movies just sucked so badly that it's beyond words. First off, I saw the movie "The Chronicles of Spiderwick". That movie was actually really good. It's comedy, and suspense all wrapped up into one movie.

The movie that sucked like hell was "Rule #1". It was a waste of money, and time. So if any of you guys are planning to watch the movie, Don't.

The movie started off really good as it was scary and as much as I don't wanna say it, I was covering my eyes at certain parts of the movie. Hey! It's not like you don't know that I'm most afraid of these kinda things.

Anyways, I hated the movie and so did my friend who saw it with me. But then Chee chuan liked it, so believe whoever you wanna believe then. If you did watch it, please leave a comment as to whether you liked the movie. I just hated the story of the whole movie.

I just attended a wedding dinner on Saturday, and I had so much fun. We had fun making different types of drinks, and coming up with cool names for each of them. Lol. The funny thing is that most of us sitting at that table didn't know the couple that was getting married. Haha. I'm excused because it was my god-father's cousin (but is only like 20+) or smth. lol. But my god-cousins didn't even know as well. They didn't even know if they were relatives with the groom or bride. Anyways, the food was great, but the thing that I enjoyed the most was the company.

Things that annoy me on the train - Part 2

Pardon me for the delay in between these two posts. I've been really lazy these past couple of days, and whenever I would have a feeling to blog, I'd be too tired to do so. So, let's just carry on.

Number 10
People that listen to music really loudly

These people seem to be deaf. If I'm able to listen to the song that's playing on your ipod, then don't you think that ipod may be a little bit too loud? The worse thing is when I'm able to listen to the song that you're listening, WHILE listening to MY songs. Ear checkup maybe?

Number 9
People that lean on the poles

The poles are meant for people to hold, and not for you to lean on. The glass panels that you see when you walk in the train is meant for you to lean, but not the metal poles. I've seen inconsiderate people lean on the poles when the train is packed. The other people would have no choice but to try their hardest to balance themselves.

Number 8
People that shake their legs

Ok, so I'm sitting down, and I'm enjoying my music. Another person sits down beside me, and starts shaking his leg. Just in case you don't know, I can feel it. So what do I do? Well, I start shaking my leg too. After a while, they'll get irritated, and when they stop, I would considerately stop too.

Number 7
People that fall asleep and starts to lean towards you.

This is the thing that probably annoys me the most. The only reason why it's number 7 is because sometimes, you just can't help it. But it's so irritating when the person beside you leans closer with each stop of the station. I remember once I purposely jerked my leg just to wake the person beside me up. In another scenario, I saw a guy falling asleep, and the girl beside him kept staring as if he did it on purpose. She probably thought that he did it purposely just to get close to her.

Number 6
People that talk really loudly on the phone

This usually occurs when the elderly receives a phone call. They practically scream into the phone. I could even hear it WHILE listening to my Ipod. I then later turned it on louder that I probably became the irritating one in Number 10.

Number 5
People that play music on their phones

They probably think that they're so cool because their phones can play music. Well, News Flash: So can mine, and the person beside me probably can too. In fact, more than half of the people on the train probably owns a phone that can do that. So stop acting cool, and turn the damn phone off. Or at least, play some NICE music.

Number 4
Kids that run amuck

You know those super energetic kids that scream and shout upon entering the train? Well, then afterwards they run around the poles and chase after one another. I'm so irritated by them that I just wanna stick my feet out when they run past me. Call me mean, but it's just SO annoying! Maybe it's because i'm not all that good with kids, but I think that they should be brought to the zoo or something. Let them run around that zoo. They'll be too tired to even talk when they're on their way back home. I'm happy, I'm sure the kids are happy that they could run, and the parents get a break. Everyone's happy...

Number 3
People that places their bags on the chair

What the hell is your problem? Put the bag on your lap, or put it on the ground. Why are you placing them on the chair that is meant for a person's ass? Did your bag pay for a MRT ticket? Are you being charged double? I bet the answer to those questions was no and no. So put the bag or groceries on the ground.

Number 2
Aunties that Rush for seats

The door opens, then you see a bunch of aunties that seem to be taking the shuttle run in the NAPFA test. They come in, their eyes scan the horizon, and they run towards the prey. In this case, the prey is the empty seat. Just 3 days ago, the door opened, and this auntie came lunging forward. She scanned the horizon once again, but there just wasn't any empty seats. What did you expect? You boarded the train at Bugis! After seeing that there weren't any seats, she had to end it with the "Tsk" sound. So Typical.

It was also this day when I saw a woman who boarded the train at Tanah Merah. She stood at the door and her luggage was on the floor while she carried a small little bag. As soon as someone stood up, I saw a small little boy heading towards the seat. But he was cut off as this auntie ran towards the seat as if there was a 50 dollar bill. She ran to the seat, placed her small little bag on the seat to "reserve" it, and then went back to her luggage and dragged it across. If she had to carry the luggage then alright, you probably need the seat. But the luggage was on the ground. Couldn't you have the little boy take the seat?

Number 1
People that dig their nose

If you wanna do so, please do it discretely, while using a tissue. But most uncles, you know, the ones with the super long pinky fingernails do so openly. They dig and dig and then after doing so, they flick whatever "treasure" they found which is utterly DISGUSTING. This should be a crime!

So there it is, the top 15 things that annoy the hell out of me when I'm on the train.

Things that annoy me on the train - Part 1

Alright guys, in an attempt to revive my dying my blog, I've decided to inform you guys on the things that people do on the train that annoys me. As most of you know, I live in Pasir Ris and study in Dover. I've spent... a total of 637.5 hours of my last 3 years of my life on the train. That's a total of 26.5 days. Most of the days, I'm able to tune into my own world with my Ipod and pretend that I'm a billionaire during the 45 minutes. However, on days that I forget my Ipod, every little thing that people do can get on my nerves. And here's a list of them, all 15 of them:

Number 15:
Aunties and Uncles that expect you to stand up no matter what.

- OK, I might sound like an inconsiderate prick by saying that, but there are times when we young people really need the seats too. But some older folks come in through the door, walk right in front of you, and stare at you waiting for you to stand up. I'm not even sitting under the sign which states to give up my seat in such cases. And for those that don't know, the sign says: "Please give this seat up to those who may need it more than you do." Who's to say that I don't need the seat? What if I just ran a marathon and my legs were numb at that moment? (Although we all know that me running a marathon is an impossible thing) But what if I went crazy that day and ran a marathon?

Number 14:
People that read newspapers

-Besides watching loads of people snatching the Free Today newspapers given out in the morning, you'll have to be in the train full of people reading them. I don't feel that there's anything wrong with reading the newspapers on the train, but don't you think reading them when everyone is packed into the train during the morning rush hours is inconsiderate? The worse thing is when you're standing right beside them and the newspapers start tickling your arms. It just makes you wanna rip off the corner of that newspaper.

Number 13:
People that carry huge bags and places them on their lap

- Does it take a genius to figure out that if the length of the bag is longer than the width of their two fat thighs, it would be wise to just put the bag on the ground? There was one girl who was carrying a huge bag and tried to fit it onto her two skinny thighs. She was dumb enough to not realize that the bag was resting on one of my thighs. Skinny so what? No brains...

Number 12:
People that sit with their legs wide open, including girls.

- Your balls got that big meh? Keep your legs closed so that the others also have some leg space lah. There have been several times where I'd witness girls wearing short skirts sitting with their legs open, and it's not really an appealing sight. But of course, it turns on some guys, well, Old men rather. They'd keep looking as if they were waiting for the golden egg to pop out.

Number 11:
People that take off their shoes

- If the shoe was that uncomfortable, then why buy them in the first place? It obviously wasn't that good looking as you would then place your feet over the shoes squishing the design and the shape of the shoe into that of a slipper. Am I the ONLY one the think that it's a little bit unhygienic or inappropriate for someone to remove their shoes? It could just be me as I have something against feet.

The top 10 will only be posted tomorrow. Haha... I'm tired right now as it's 5:45 am. And I gotta meet up with Suraj tmr. Yeah, I gotta board the train. Guess it's good I have my Ipod!

Sleep Disorder

I think I have a sleeping disorder. I sleep 12 hours a day, and I still feel dead tired when I wake up. When I lay my head on the pillow to sleep at night, I'm so tired, but I can't fall asleep. I rolled around in bed yesterday for about 4 hours before I finally slept at 8:30am. I slept when the sun was rising, and I'm awake when the sun is about to set. This has gotta change...

Two days ago, I met up with Wan Ying, my kindergarten and my primary school friend, who also happens to share the same birthday with me. We went to watch a movie at Cineleisure, spent about 2 hours at the board game store at Takashimaya. Lol.

I met up with my primary school friend yesterday for dinner. We were talking about some of our primary school classmates, and out of no where, one of our primary school classmates show up at Pasta Mania, which was where we were having our dinner. The three of us then talked about our primary school days.

Anyways, I originally planned to list down the things that people do on the MRT that annoys me. But I just got so lazy right now, so I shall post them during my next post sometime soon. Haha.

Miss Swan

How will life be like without Youtube? Without Youtube, I'd be unable to watch Surivor and America's Next Top Model whenever I miss an episode. You can find practically anything on Youtube, including Taiwanese Celebrities that can barely speak a sentence in english making fun of the way how Singaporeans speak english.

Remember the lady that was talking about the pegnant (pregnant) incident? She later claimed that she was actually making fun of her own hearing...

Right........

So anyways, I just started to watch clips of Miss Swan again, and I cannot stop laughing. I think she's absolutely hilarious.

Doing Nothing

So I keep getting asked this question: "So what are you doing now?" and the answer to that is: "Um... Nothing". Yeah, I'm not doing anything YET.

So during my days of doing nothing, I was Youtube video hopping and I stumbled upon the the following video. This video has been on the news before where the Taiwanese Celebrities criticize the english language that's spoken here. Here's the Video:

Sorry, but to me, they're in no position to judge especially since they say "Thank you" as "Sank You". It just eliminates their credibility to judge how Singaporeans speak English.

So I've been watching the Jurassic Park Series during my time of doing "nothing". And I LOVE the freaking movies so much! I now prefer the 1st and 3rd movie over the 2nd one. The first movie just had a better storyline. And the 3rd movie had more Dinosaurs. lol... I have no clue why I'm fascinated over Dinosaurs.

So anyways, I'm just going to abruptly end this post here as I suddenly lost interest. I'll try to blog again soon...

After the Chalet

So I finally decided to stop being so lazy and to finally blog a post. So the class chalet is finally over and it was pretty fun. Of course there were people that rubbed me the wrong way, but what can you do about it? It's bound to happen when you're with that person 24/7 for 4 days and 3 nights.

You guys probably know who it is, and if you think that it's you, well it's probably not. Because those people actually doesn't read this blog.

So prior to the checking in on the chalet, Candy and CC came over to my place to get the NUS and NTU registration done. Which made me feel that a load was taken off my back. (Remember that we still have to send in the documents that NUS wants!!!) We then rushed off to the chalet as it was 4:20 and the last time for checking in was at 4:30.

The chalet was filled with chalet stuff such as card games, mahjong, BBQ-ing, Waterbombs, Sleeping late at night, and waking up around noon for breakfast. 4 days went by just like that, and here I am at home. I don't know if it's because I was so exhausted by the chalet or what not, but I've only been waking up at 4pm for the past couple of days. Because of the time that I wake up, I've only been having one meal a day. Is this good or bad? lol.

I want that Tung Lok Dim Sum Buffet so badly... Who's willing to accompany me there?

Anyways, I'll post the pictures of the chalet when I actually get them...

In the mean time, I'm gonna try and get some motivation to blog. Lol.

Searching for Motivation...

Busy...

I'm been a busy person this past week. I haven't my usual 15 hours of sleep that I usually have when we're a month into the school holidays. But then again, this isn't really a School Holiday either.

I had a busy day today, and I've still got more to come in the next several days. The chalet begins tomorrow, but I haven't even packed my bags yet! And on top of it all, I (& a few others) have to submit the application form for NUS, and NTU. I'm probably just going to give NUS a miss since I'm not in the least interested in the courses that they're providing. And based on what I've heard, NTU's Business course is a hard course to enter. In other words, I have a 0.01% chance of getting into that course. But hey, there's still a chance that an asteroid will hit Singapore and kill all the other 99.99% people that have better grades than me right?

So what's my plan? Get that Certificate in Hospitality Information Technology, go to NS, see if I'm able to study part time for more tourism courses, get into the tourism line, and slowly climb the corporate ladder. It's only a matter of time before my face appears on the Newspapers. Below it, it'll state: "Chairman of _______ (whichever privileged company)".

So Genting was pretty alright, but the weather was cold as hell. I pretty much caught a cold at Genting and I'm still having the symptoms here at home. Yeah, I think I fall sick really easily too. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time falling sick in the past 2 months. The one thing that attracts us teenagers *Ahem* men to Genting is probably the Theme park. However, that was the one thing that I didn't do. I wasn't feeling very well, as I already caught a cold on the first day of the trip when me and my brother's friend both dared each other to take off our jackets in the freezing weather along with the strong winds.

Yeah, I know... Stupid move. But I used to be able to do it in the US mah! Why not now? So anyways, I spent most of my time eating and shopping on the first day. On the second day, we finished shopping and got so bored. We then decided to sit around this place called GoGo Cafe while waiting for our movie to start. We then started chatting with the people that worked there.
I also watched the movie Meet the Spartans and Jumper in Genting. Jumper being the better movie of the two.

Class Chalet is tomorrow, and I've already got all the food. What would you guys have done without me? Haha. Anyways, I hope that we'll all have a great time since it's probably going to be one of the last times that we all hang out as a class.

Activities not yet planned yet!!!

Wait I get scolded by SJ saying that the chalet was boring and that it should've been held at Downtown East... Candy, CC, YS, Daniel...Help...

Off to sleep now. Gotta wake up a little earlier as some of them are coming over to do the NUS and NTU registration together.

Tired... Tired... Tired...

I'm Back!!!

I missed Singapore during the first few hours that I was in Genting. I can't believe that I did though. Lol... But, 3 days has gone, and I'm finally back!

I'm too lazy now to type out a long blog post about what I did though. Although it was mostly, Eat-Sleep-Talk. Anyways, more updates tomorrow or something.

Remember the Chalet is this Monday to Thursday! Feb 18 to 21st!!!

Birthday

I'm now currently 20 years & 2 days old. Ugh... OLD ALREADY!!!

On Feb 10, I went with Candy, Bernard, and my cousin Shu Juan to Waraku for lunch. It's weird as I once said that I wanted to have my birthday at Waraku when I first ate there. However, without planning, I ditched that idea but I still ended up having Waraku for my Birthday meal. All 3 of them paid for me... Thanks! We then headed to Kbox after that sang till 9pm, and I headed home since my cousin and Candy Ho had to work the next day. I stopped by my friend's (Xing Yue) place as she had bought a present for me. Haha. I was totally not expecting it.

Went out with my family today for my birthday as my brother couldn't make it yesterday as he had to work. The original plan was to go for the Dim Sum buffet that I love at Tung Lok. However, they didn't have the buffet during the whole damn CNY period. We then ended up at Waraku AGAIN. And both times were at Marina Square. The waiters and waitresses were the same lah!

We then went to pick something up at my mom's friend's mom's place. My mom's friends, Pepsi (Yes, Pepsi Cola that Pepsi) and Desmond are currently in Dubai. And knowing my love of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, they asked Pepsi's Mom who was visiting to bring back the doughnuts for me!

And look closely, It's TWO boxes! I didn't eat the CNY goodies so that I wouldn't gain weight, but these doughnuts are IRRESISTIBLE!

Anyways, here's a picture of my niece Lovell. Isn't she just cute? She started chasing after my dog Vicky when she was on the stroller when she came over to my place during CNY because she wanted to play with her...

So we were just talking about heading to Malaysia earlier today with my parents. We then went to the tour agency to find out if there were vacancies to go to Genting tomorrow. 5 Star didn't. But Grassland did. So we're heading to Genting in just about 7 hours. Kinda last minute right? Haha. Alright, I'm off to pack my stuff for the Genting trip... Have fun and take care guys! Miss me!!!

Candy Tay, Here's some things that I need to find out:

- What time the classes are
- Where the classes are at
- What to do if I pay, and then I have to enlist in March?
- Will there be a cert that shows that we took this course upon completion?

I think those are it. Lol. Enough questions already... Thanks so much!!!

And remember to wait for me to register for NTU and this Course hor! lol. Thanks once again!!!

Off to pack now...

CNY

Chinese New Year is around the corner, in just a matter of hours. I've just completed cleaning/packing the room to make it look neat and stuff. The decorations are up, and so are the new curtains. The cleaning has FINALLY come to a halt. This is my 4th CNY ever since I came back from the US. It doesn't feel that way though. I for some reason only feel like this will be my 2nd CNY since I came back. Well, I'm just waiting for my parents to change, before I head off to my Aunt's place for the reunion dinner. On the other hand, My brother's still sleeping his butt away. Just waiting for me to wake him up as soon as my parents are done.

Anywayz, Happy Chinese New Year to you guys, and I hope you guys get lots of money for the Ang Paos. But hopefully not as much as me though. Haha!

P.S. Remember to save some of the money that you receive for the Chalet! Bye for now, I'm off to my Aunt's place to EAT.

Doughnuts

I used to love Chinese New Year. Why is it that I have a sudden hatred for it? Well, I don't hate CNY itself, I mean who in the right mind would hate receiving Ang Paos right? But I hate the Pre-CNY Cleaning which seems to be a tradition that everyone followes faithfully and blindly.

I guess I understand when you have to clean the tables and the papers lying around on the ground so that the house has the Oh-So-Clean look. But my mom is digging through the cupboards which contains papers and a bunch of other stuff. If nobody's going to see it, then is there really a need to clean it? Did I mention she's really moody when she does the cleaning? She becomes REALLY moody even though she herself WANTED to have it cleaned. Oh well, Just a couple more days before CNY arrives as this Spring cleaning is just driving me insane. Even though I haven't been doing much. Which would possibly be why I'm being nagged at so much.

Remember the donut craze that Singapore flew into a couple of months ago? I guess that craze is slowly dissipating. Just like the Bubble Tea craze years ago. The Queue for the Donut Factory used to take HOURS. But, being the smart person that I am, I decided to wait for the craze to die down. Lol. I went to the Donut Factory yesterday, and I queued for about 5 minutes. Beats the 2 and a half hours huh? However, I still prefer Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme

Donut Factory

Donut Factory wins based on the presentation of the donuts. It looks so much better tasting too! But the donut just isn't as soft as Krispy Kreme though. But that's just my opinion. I want some Krispy Kreme Now!

I just finished Grey's Anatomy Season 3, and they mentioned this line: "What's worse? New wounds which are so horribly painful? Or old wounds that should have healed years ago and never did?"

New wounds that are directly on top of the old wounds are what hurts the most.

Goo-gle-a-ble

Ok ok... The pictures taken at Sakura is now up in the iwantiwant4862 Yahoo! mail account. The password is still the same. Haha...

I went to Botak Jones for dinner yesterday. It was my first time there (Ya I know... Mountain tortoise) and I had their Chille Dog. It was freaking good... I cleaned the whole freaking plate which is a great achievement. Haha... I wanna go back there for dinner right now! lol.

Anyways, I attempted to get dinner at Elias Mall like 2 days ago. We (My parents and I) wanted to get food from the new "Zhi Char" place that just opened. We waited and waited, and the food didn't come, so we checked with them if they had forgotten our order. We then later heard a lady that was working there telling another lady that she would have to wait as WE were there first. But when the food came out, they gave the food to THAT lady! We then decided that we were tired of waiting, and left the place an hour and 10 minutes later. That's 70 minutes of my life that I won't be getting back. Do you know how precious 70 minutes is?

I could've travelled to City Hall, and back to Pasir Ris AND still have enough time to stop by Ben & Jerry's for my Oatmeal Cookie Chunk (or is it Dough?). Obviously I haven't been there in a long time.

Does anybody here google themselves up? I visited CC's blog just a while ago, and found out that he's googleable. (Pronounce it as goo-gle-a-ble - Ya, it's a new word that I created). Attempted to do it for myself and some others, and the blogs DO show. CC's blog appears as the 2nd link if you type in Chuanism in google. (SJ & Candy - You guys also appear in that search. Don't ask me why though)

Candy is also googleable, Keyword: Tinggie.

I'm also googleable.

But on the 3rd page though. Haha.

After Attachment

So my attachment has ended, but I still haven't had the chance to get 14 hours of rest just yet. I'll eventually get the chance to though. I went to the attachment debrief yesterday and from what I believe, I didn't get an A for my attachment. This is so frustrating!

Even though the attachment is over, I'm feeling really weird now. I'm not happy, and it feels like I'm nervous about something that's coming up. But I really don't know what it is. Can it be my NS medical? Is it the fact that I'm done with Poly? Just what the heck is causing this feeling?

So I went to Sakura for dinner yesterday with the FYP peeps and we stayed there from 6 to 10. I was SOOOO bloated right after that, and I just felt like vomiting. Blame the Sashimi, Yam Paste, and all the great tasting food there. It just made me wanna eat and eat. But I guess it's alright as that was the only meal that I had for the whole of yesterday.

Made some Chalet plans during the 4 hours there, and there's still a HUGE grey area of how much food to get and a bunch of other stuff & I got the Gary's 3rd album yesterday as well...
